India and Japan signed the agreement on rare earth cooperation



Japanese media said on 28th August, Japan next week will sign an agreement with India, imported about 2000 tons of rare earth from India, in order to strengthen the channels of diversified import rare earths.

Reports said India will export about 2000 tons to 2300 tons of rare earth, equivalent to about 15% of Japanese enterprises annual usage. As early as February next year, India will export the rare earth to japan. Reports also said, Japan has signed agreement with Vietnam, Kazakhstan on a joint development of rare earth resources in the future.

India's prime minister Modi will visit Japan between August 30th and September 3 rd.
